Kremlin: what a surprise!!!

The sun rose up (at 5'o clock in the morning), let's start with the our 3th days!

After a copious breakfast, the tourism geography's teacher was waiting for us in a boling classroom.

The lecture was about the climate, vegetation and fauna of the different areas of the huge Russia and then an excursus of the five main regions with tourist potential.

It was really interesting, the major part of the Russian territory is permafrost!

After a short break, the second part of today's lecture began.

It was about the world heritage in Russia, the main programs of Unesco and its objectives.

At 13:30 we finally had lunch...But we do not yet get used to the taste of Russian food!

In the afternoon, we met our Russian friends in order to visit Kremlin.

We took the undergraund to Red Square and walked as long as we reached the Kremlin.

From the outside, it seems to be just like a big castle or a fortress. But going through the entrance, we were surprised. Kremlin is not just a castle, but much more!!!

It is an historic fortified complex at the heart of Moscow within curches, squares and wonderful palaces. We were told that Castello Sforsensco in Milan inspired this biulding and an Italian architect, Aristotele Fioravanti built the towers. We visited just two of the many curches inside Kremlin, Uspenskij, the oldest one and Arkhangelsky sobor, where all Romanov family is buried. While we were enjoing our tour inside the Kremlin, it started rain with the sun shining. Rain brought us to the evening, so we decided to have a quick dinner and come back to the hotel to finally have some rest!

Good night to everybody!
